Procedure for Sponsoring a Pilgrim
for a Three-Day Weekend
- Supply a copy of the Rainbow flyer to your prospective pilgrim (if
he/she has not already read it). Alternatively it is the Home Page on our
website
www.cursillo.org.nz
- Obtain and read a “Sponsorship Set” comprising the Application Form,
the pamphlets Introducing Cursillo, Sponsoring, Your Fourth Day and Group
Reunion & Ultreya which can be obtained from your parish contact or area
co-ordinator or otherwise from the Registrar, Philippa Wardhaugh phone 06

Introducing Cursillo and the Application Form are
also on the website.
- Read the pamphlet Sponsoring to ensure that your pilgrim is suited to
Cursillo and that you can fulfil your obligations as Sponsor.
- Supply a copy of the Introducing Cursillo pamphlet to your prospective
pilgrim to read or ask them to read it on the website- he/she has to
acknowledge in the Application Form that he/she has read it
- Supply the Application Form for completion and lodgement with the
Registrar
- Explain to your prospective pilgrim that he/she is not accepted for
any particular weekend until an acceptance is received from the Registrar
- Following the 3 day weekend support your pilgrim by reference to the
pamphlets Your Fourth Day and Group Reunion & Ultreya.
